Cygnus over Newgrange by Richard Moore

SIZE: 16" x 26" (40cm x 67cm)
MEDIUM: Oil on paper
PRICE: E-mail us for details

This spectacular painting of the constellation Cygnus over Newgrange, from the Richard Moore Art Studio, represents the unique and extraordinary talent of this great artist, whose works are included in the collections of such notable people as the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, Independent News and Media Chairman, Sir Anthony O'Reilly, Government Minister Michael Smith and many others.

It is one of the most stunning images ever captured of the glorious 5,000-year-old Neolithic mound, placed beautifully and aptly in the context of the stars of the night sky, in particular Cygnus, with which Newgrange may be linked.

Moore's extensive experience in the Boyne Valley, where he has painted the landscape for 25 years, comes to fruition in this rare masterpiece.
