Newgrange satellite sites by artist Richard Moore
Newgrange standing stone
One of the giant standing stones near Newgrange, painted by Richard Moore. This one is given the unglamorous title "site C" by archaeologists. The stone looks completely different from different angles. Click here for information about this stone.
Destroyed site U near Newgrange
This is all that remains of a site known as "Site U", located to the east of Newgrange, which was probably once a cairn or pasage-mound like some of the other satellite sites. Click here to see photos of this site.
