Jane Tomlinson's images of Avebury and Stonehenge

These beautiful paintings are from Jane Tomlinson's collection. Although Jane does not exclusively paint ancient sites, she says she repeatedly turns to both Stonehenge and Avebury in an effort to capture 'their power, mood and sculptural qualities. Also featured is another famous ancient site, the Rollright Stones. Mythical Ireland particularly likes the paintings which capture the stones against the backdrop of the moon and night sky.
