Probably
among one of the best five photographs I have ever taken, this
shot of a red evening sky over Drogheda takes little introduction.
There was no magic involved, though - nature presented this
scene to me, and I just grabbed my camera and took four pictures.
This was the best of the four. No image editing was carried
out - this is a simple scan from a 7x5" colour print. Sometimes,
it's about being in the right place at the right time, with
a camera!
Another
evening sky, with the small cumulus clouds in the foreground against
the dark cumulonimbus behind.
The
same sky as on left, but with a wider lens and taken a few minutes
later. The sun was setting.
A
July sunset sky over Ireland.
High
and low altitude cloud combine in this image.
