People
have watched it move through the stars since the earliest times,
and modern earthlings have walked on its surface, yet the moon
still holds an awe for us. Our wandering companion, moving through
its phases and the constellations, has a beauty and arcane wonderment
all of its own. It holds us all in amazement and appreciation,
and reminds us that in the palpable universe, everything is
intrinsically linked to the Cosmos. The moon's movements have
been recorded at the 5,000-year-old Knowth
monument.
