Hi all
Im new to the forum and i have a quick question about cairn L at loughcrew. Ive been to cairn T a number of times but the first time i was met by a lovely man from the OPW who cautioned me about going to cairn L as it was private land and the owner was not too keen about people going over to it.
has anyone had experience of this? are we taliking slight mood or angry farmer with shotgun?
thanks for your help as its a site i would really love to visit.

You wouldnt know how i could contact him would you? The OPW werent able to help me but gave me the name James Naper. They also said the key was available from the National monuments depot in Birr, over 100km from loughcrew but. I figure there must be one nearer the site. Any idea.
thanks for your help
