The article on this site re the Knowth lunar stone suggest that it tells the user to multiply 12 x 29.5 and add 11 in order to achieve the correct length of the year.
But the article does not give any evidence that the stone indicates a cycle of 29.5. In fact the previous section gives a method adding up to 29.
Furthermore, a discussion of why the author thinks the creators of the stone knew how to multiply with fractional numbers, as opposed to only whole numbers or ratios, would be appreciated.
