Campaigners are claiming the proposed M3 motorway through the Tara-Skryne Valley is a threat to the archaeology of Tara and would be a huge visual intrusion on the landscape.

sites like these should be protected ,no other countries have this history ,we should repect our sites and keep our history.

i remember reading somewhere recently that the the temperatures of the roads (caused by the cars) will effect mists and low cloud coverages. This could cause more adverse effects in the area especially regarding lines of sight.

Ill go search for that article now, in fact it was propably posted as a link from here or one of the linked sites.

I am new here

I love this site

I am from US author of Elven World a book for young adults mainly about Irish folklore
But it is also fiction and fun... anyway it has a lot to do with Tara and I thought it would be good to connect up before I come out to Ireland this year and to see how I can help on the project if any way
