The last Aer Lingus Boeing 737 in the comany's colours flew out
of Dublin Airport on October 29th, 2005. Click here for photos of
that last flight. From that point on, Aer Lingus' entire fleet was
made up of Airbus only.
The
Ryanair 737-200s flew in and out of Dublin for a decade and were
familiar because of their skinny engines and great noise. The last
are scheduled to be withdrawn from service in December 2005.
