PlaneQuantas Airbus A380 EGLL-YSSY (via WSSS) Plane
Airbus A380 side view
This enormous bird will be able to carry 555 passengers at a top flight level of 43,000 feet. Here, I've imagined a flight from London Heathrow (EGLL) to Sydney (YSSY) via Singapore (WSSS). This is the first leg of the journey, across Europe. More to come.
Leaving England behind
The Quantas bird leaves England behind and prepares for a trip which will take the best part of a day.
Climbing to cruise
The A380 climbs to cruise over the channel, heading for The Netherlands.
CLose-up
At FL245, with the coast of Britain behind her.
Contrails at FL270
Contrails at flight level 270.
Heading for the sun
The Quantas aircraft heads for the sun, and Europe, on the first leg of its lengthy flight.
Over Europe
Now over Europe, the Airbus all but flies itself along 17 pages of waypoints programmed into its Flight Management Computer (FMC).
The aircraft flown here is the Abacus Airbus A380 which is available for FS2002, FS2004 and FSX. I flew it in FSX. The a/c includes many interior views, so you can fly as a passenger as well as a pilot! The FSX version includes a virtual cockpit and a working FMC.
